Margaret Freeman has been riding horses for 15 years. Margaret has been trained in western riding, trail and reining. At the age of seven she began competing in local schooling shows around Robertson county, Tennessee. She also competed in local saddle club shows until the age of thirteen. After the age of thirteen, Margaret competed in ARHA (American Ranch Horse Association) shows in multiple states for 3 years, competing in ranch riding, trail, showmanship, horsemanship and reining. Margaret attended collage at Western Kentucky University and trained on the equestrian team for a year under Dr. Charles Anderson. The team competed in Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). Margaret’s ultimate goals for her students are to be able to ride a horse at a walk, trot and lope in a safe and comfortable manner, with good conformation. Margaret also stresses the importance of properly taking care of a horse. In addition, Margaret will teach students the anatomy of a horse. Margaret charges an hourly rate of $50 an hour.
